Nicholas Palmerley, a PhD student in the lab went to the Canadian Association of Physicists Congress and won second place in the Division of Physics in Medicine and Biology (DMPB) best student oral presentation competition.
The entire lab attended the 2024 Manitoba Materials Conference and each presented a poster in the Poster competition. Dr. Yang Liu was one of the joint winners for the research associate category while Nicholas Palmerley got an honourable mention for the PhD category.
The Lab went to lunch at the Tehran Café to celebrate all the achievements of the year.
